About Dr. Hess

Dr. Gary R. Hess, OD, joined the practice of his father, Dr. Wallace L. Hess, in 1988. Gary received his Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Jefferson College and received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1988.

Your eye care needs are the top priority of our family-run practice, and we have served the Beaver County area for more than 50 years. Dr. Gary Hess has more than 25 years of personal experience in optometry, and is dedicated to treating every patient like family.

Memberships

Dr. Hess is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the American Optometry Society. He is also a member of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce, and is active in the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society.

Family Life

Gary and his wife, Tracy, live in Brighton Township with their two children, Tanner and Aubrey. Dr. Hess enjoys being outdoors with his family and his dog, Tess, and spends his free time boating, working out, and bike riding.
